The major similarity between Duchamp’s works and the works of Neo-Dada artists was that they were readymade. This term was coined by Duchamp which means found objects. Duchamp created his art by including the objects found on a daily basis like a wheel from a bicycle or a urinal and then put them on exhibition. The Neo-Dada artists adopted this concept of Duchamp’s found objects and that the viewers participate in the creative process that is started by the artists. Neo-Dada creators like John Cage, Jasper John, Robert Rauschenberg, and Allan Kaprow has shown these concepts in their artworks. For example, John Cage’s 4’33 perfectly represents both the Neo-Dada concept along with the Duchamp’s ideas.
